Ocean Flavored Dreams is my most in-depth project to-date and it holds a special place in my heart. This series was my college capstone -- a year long endeavor where I spent over 100 hours researching and designing and another 300 hours painting the windows. This series won "best capstone award" for the entirety of the art + design department at Marietta College in 2016.
Each window represents one of the three major problems facing global oceans: Overfishing, climate change, and pollution. Each window corresponds with a set of matching infographics that explains each problem and window painting in depth. The original display for this set was designed to hang from the ceiling so the user could move around the artwork and learn about each one intimately -- These could easily be adjusted to hang traditionally from the wall though.
